Hoda Recognized in the Global Solvers Accelerator 2026
Hoda’s work in supporting and empowering Afghan refugees in Iran received international recognition through the selection process for the Global Solvers Accelerator 2026. Mehdi Sadeghiha, CEO of Hoda, was named a Waitlisted Candidate for the 2026 program by the Melton Foundation.
According to the certificate issued by the program, the recognition reflects the work carried out through Hoda, described as a digital platform designed to empower Afghan refugees in Iran by improving access to jobs, legal counselling, education, and social resources.
The recognition is an important milestone for Hoda’s broader approach, which brings together social innovation, refugee empowerment, community participation, and resilience. Hoda is built around the idea that access to information alone is not enough. Migrants and refugees also need access to trusted experiences, practical opportunities, specialist knowledge, and networks of mutual support.
Through areas such as education, employment, legal guidance, health-related information, and social support, Hoda aims to create practical pathways through which migrants and refugees can find relevant knowledge and opportunities while also learning from the experiences of others.
Being named a Waitlisted Candidate does not represent final admission to the Global Solvers Accelerator. However, it represents meaningful recognition of Hoda’s work and its potential contribution to more inclusive and resilient communities.
For Hoda, this recognition is another step toward connecting its local work with wider international networks focused on migration, social innovation, sustainable development, and community empowerment.
Hoda will continue developing a community built around shared knowledge, opportunity, trust, and mutual support, where migrants and refugees can participate not only as recipients of support, but also as active contributors to the knowledge and experience of the wider community.
