As a volunteer, Hoda gave me the opportunity to share my experience and knowledge with people who genuinely need it. For me, the most valuable part is seeing trust and mutual support grow between people.
For several days, I was confused by the different information I found about a legal issue. Through Hoda, I was able to find the right path and read about the experiences of people who had faced similar situations. This helped me make my decision with greater confidence.
After years of living and working in Iran, Kamela returned to Afghanistan. She transformed the footwear production skills she had gained during her migration journey into an economic opportunity by establishing a small shoe workshop in Herat and creating a new path for herself and her family.
Hoda’s job search section was more than just a place to find job opportunities for me. I learned from others’ experiences about career paths and the skills I needed, and eventually applied for several suitable positions.
After returning from Iran to Afghanistan, Boman worked to rebuild his economic life. He initially started a small furniture and mattress business, but after understanding market demand, he shifted his focus toward clothing production. His ability to adapt and respond to market opportunities helped him expand his business and create employment opportunities for others.
After 12 years of living and working in Iran, Tahir returned to Afghanistan. Although he had managed to support his family during migration, his return left him facing major challenges, including unemployment, financial insecurity and uncertainty about rebuilding his life.
His story shows that return is not only about crossing a border; it requires preparation for life after return.
